About Us

Centrally located in north Georgia in beautiful White County, between the cities of Cleveland (home of Babyland General Hospital where all "Cabbage Patch kids" are born), Clarkesville and Helen, we are the only clothing-optional  "lifestyle" resort in the southeastern United States.  Mountain Creek Grove is best described as a rustic, relaxed resort and campground, with a great little nightclub that is the perfect meeting place on a Friday or Saturday night.  While the resort is a lot of fun during the day, we truly are at our best when nightfall comes.   In a recent review we were called "Summer Camp for Adults," and we have to say we really like that assessment.  If you are looking for the Ritz of resorts ... indoor pools and bowling alleys ... we may not be the resort for you.  But, if you're seeking a resort where you can simply be yourself and where all are accepted as they are regardless of race, creed, color, size or any other prejudices, and all guests and visitors become instant family, then you owe it to yourselves to visit Mountain Creek Grove.

With so much to see and do here at the resort as well as in the surrounding cities, you will need several days just to experience it all.  You'll find horseback riding, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, hunting, golfing and shopping, all in the local area.  With all that, you may find that even a week-long visit will still leave you wanting to hurry back and do it all over again to get to those things you missed the first time. No matter how long you stay, be sure to allow plenty of time not only to explore the local area and attractions but to also have plenty of time for the resort and all of our many activities.

For the 2010 season, we have made many changes throughout the entire resort.  We just named a new general manager who is  committed to having a lot of guest participation.  If it has been a while since your last visit, come up and see us again, and appreciate the improvements that have been made.

"We encourage the freedom to be yourself while respecting that freedom in others."

 Hope to see you soon.
