I am leaving today after almost two weeks of what can be described as heaven on earth. Living through Memorial Day, and “Hooters on Scooters” weekends was the experience of a lifetime. I don’t want to go home! Meeting all the lovely people, from the carefree veterans and full timers, to the newbies with the Disney World looks on their faces. All ages, shapes, and sizes swaying to the music and pleasant conversation. Folks coming from all across our great country to enjoy this wonderful setting. One can’t say enough about the facilities, and the pleasant and helpful staff. From volleyball in the pool, to the weekend dances, to the lovely walks around the grounds, always a kind hello and wave of understanding of just how special this place is. Clothed, nude, observing, or participating, there is something here for everyone. I urge you, whether an experienced nudist, lifestylist, or just plain curious, to visit this truly unique resort. Cross that fence of hesitation and take the plunge into another world. You will not be disappointed.

The things we liked about the grove are how friendly everyone was and how much fun it is there. We especially liked the no-pressure aspect for those of us new to things and we were impressed with the respect everyone had for each other. It was the best time we've had in a while. We went the weekend of May 21st & liked it so much we went back the following weekend and became members. We definitely plan on spending a lot of time up there this summer.

During our first visits we were impressed by the friendly attitudes that made everyone feel welcome, regardless of their size or shape! The amenities were plentiful and clean. WOW, words can't express the great weekend I had at the resort. For over 20 years I've enjoyed the lifestyles of swinging and being a nudist. I've enjoyed attending and being a member of clubs and resorts within the Southeastern United States but this was my first visit to the "Grove." Being a single male, this resort was once off limits to single men, but things have changed with the new management. I'm not sure of the policy now (regarding single men), but from the time I called to make my cabin reservation, then arriving and being on the property, everyone made me feel very welcome. Some clubs and resorts allow single men to enter just to get a fast buck, but things were not that way here and I was treated like it was my 1,000th visit, not my first.
Everyone from the staff to the members, guests and neighbors (people who live there) made my visit very welcomed. The dinner party and the activities at the Charter House were awesome followed by visits to the pool (ice cold at the time), the hot tub and the bar, what more could you ask for. The following day was spent laying by the pool and soaking up the sun in the mountain air while visiting with the other guests and members. It was amazing to find out how far people (couples and single ladies) drive for their weekend visits to the resort. From down the road in Cleveland to all other cities in GA and states such as AL, FL, NC, SC and TN. It seems if you have a good place, please will drive the distance to enjoy. I know I really enjoyed the my weekend and hope to soon return.
I wish to thank everyone who welcomed me into a mostly couples environment and made me feel very welcome.
For anyone who has thought about visiting a clothing optional resort and maybe being able to enjoy the swing lifestyle, this is the place. Do not waste your time or money in going to any other place if you want a very enjoyable weekend (or longer) in the North GA mountains. This Place is AWESOME!

Our only regret is that we had waited so long to go :-) We had a wonderful weekend. When we left on Sunday it felt like we were leaving home. Now a word of advice for those going for the first time. You are going to a mountain retreat not a luxury beach resort. They have a great night club and even a separate playhouse with dungeon, playrooms and lots of apparatus :-) But keep in mind the accommodations range from campsites, to RV spots with hookups to little villas and cabins. The entire place has the look and feel of a mountain camp you might have sent your kids to in the summer, only this one is filled with naked, sexy erotic adults who know how to party :-)

Picture yourself and your spouse running naked at an adult summer camp and you've pictured yourself at the Grove. A total party. LOTS of hot fun!

This was our 1st time and the only regrets we have....Is NOT FINDING THIS PLACE SOONER!!! We had an absolute BLAST!!! We are a black couple and was worried about....being accepted! Well, for our first time there we weren't sure what to expect. All you have to do is hit the pool and you realize what a cool place it is. Hanging out naked and basking in the sun really sets you up for the night adventures. We met some very nice people and had a blast at the Charterhouse. I think we put on a good show in the voyeur room the first night and got invited into the host room the next night. Really fun to see all walks of life enjoying the freedom we all fight for.

We were at the Grove Saturday, pool side, Saturday night, Toga party and Sunday pool side. This was our first time at a club/resort of this type. We felt welcomed, were greeted by several of the other guest and felt very comfortable. We will definitely be back.

Jim and I came to your resort with no expectations. We had a trip planned that had to be cancelled last min, so we decided to go out of town and meet some friends at your resort. What we got out of it was a mini- Hedo II. We met some really nice people while we were there and are already trying to make plans to return with many of our Hedo friends. Jim is contacting our banker today to see about financing on a house that we stayed in. You should be seeing us in the next 4-5 weeks.
We had not been to the resort before the new management change but see the changes being made each time we come to visit - the night club - new office space - everything looks great. The times we have come to visit or stay the weekend have been amazing. Friendly staff - easy going environment and just a good time had by all. Thank you and keep up the great work!

First visit was at end of June. We both had a great time. We are new to the lifestyle and neither of us had been to a nude resort before. My first experience was in April of 2006. My guy Mac drove us up from Alabama and kept giving me "outs" in case I was nervous, but hey, it didn't work. Everything he told me was right on, like there was no pressure from anyone, everyone was very friendly, the dance was a lot of fun, the atmosphere was very laid back and there was the guy in the volleyball game that kept asking for a group hug from all the women on his team! Had a blast! My second visit was the week before the 4th of July and this time we camped out. I really enjoyed the Charter House, we got to see the Cross and the spanking bench in action, plus we initiated the o.b. table. Want more! We visited the grove for the 2nd time on 4th of July weekend 2006. Our first experience with the Grove was 3 years ago when it was changing from a Nudist resort to a full style Lifestyle Resort, We only had stayed one night, but enjoyed ourselves so much we decided to come back and spend 4 nights and 5 days at the grove. We had an awesome time there, everyone was so helpful and friendly. We visited the Charter House every night and met the most wonderful couples, even the host & hostess were so nice. We wish we lived closer so we can come more often, but our next vacation we will be definitely spending at the grove.
