Wow! What a busy season to date.

We've see many new faces and have gotten quite a few returning faces that we haven't seen in a couple of years. Check out our events to see the themes for the near future. Changes that you may or may not have seen yet that will inpact you are as follows:

1. New type of pavillion flooring to retard the numbers of flying, biting critters that we've seen has been installed.

2.We have ordered new pillow-top matress/box spring sets with Egyptian cotton sheet sets for all of the Grove owned rentals. These will be in by 07/26 at the latest (possibly as early as next Wed.) so get your reservations in to try out the new stuff. In addition, we are replacing the floors in those same rooms with a vastly upgraded product.

3. As you will quickly notice, we are in the process of enhancing the clubhouse grounds as well as the areas around the rentals.

4. There have been updated revisions to printed policy that will benifit all of you as paying guests, and these need to be signed and returned to be put into either your "Annual pass" holder, or "Day pass" holder file as your status merrits.

5. Plans are in the works even as I type to make further improvements as funds and county permits become available and we look forward to creating a winter refuge for those of you that haven't been able to come up in years past.

On behalf of the entire staff, let me offer our heartfelt thanks for your continuing patronage and support and assure you that many more improvements and upgrades are instore for the very near future. Hope to see you soon!

!!!Vendors Wanted!!!

The Grove is looking for vendors interested in setting up your booths to peddle your wares at our special events weekends. At the present, this will be for Both Hooters weekends, Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day weekends. Please contact the office and ask to speak to the General Manager to discuss the details. See you soon!

Newsletter Update

Grove beautification weekends are here! The G.M. mentioned that several of you have expressed an interest in doing volunteer projects over the next few weeks to help spruce up the place. That said, she has informed me that there will be a list of "Spring Cleaning" projects posted on the board outside the office, and that we will see about getting them all knocked out over the next 5 weekends. If you choose to adopt one or more of these projects , please see the office to co-ordinate your work and we all want to say "THANK YOU BIG TIME!!!" in advance.

The weekend is finally over and from what we heard, the party lasted until at least 4 am Sunday morning. It was fantastic seeing so many of you back so early this season and we're looking forward to seeing you again real soon. Red eyes and huge smiles seemed to be the standard look of the morning today and I can't remember the last time I saw so many tired people in such a good mood!  People worked on tans by the pool and we're starting to fill it back up on Monday morning.

Date: 03/15/2010

I've been Irish all my life and never been prouder than this past weekend. We went down Sat. nite wearing green beads but soon found that the crowd wanted to show off and in no time we had given flashers all the green that we had. It was a blast and a special thanks to the people that donated the food for the dinner. Yummy! The way the dancer hit the floor I think we should start a "Mountain Creek" dance troup to rival the groups that preform for pay but I think our dancers would give the viewers a different kind of warm, fuzzy feeling than the traditional groups do.(Riverdancers have nothing on our Creekdancers) Glad everybody had a good time, you looked great.  Sherwood Forest is next with Robin Hood and his maidens. See you this weekend to revel with us.           It's sunny and warm here the next couple of days, come lay by the pool with us!

 Date: 03/08/2010

Black Tie and Heels  was a huge success, made me want to go back to work in an office :) (Only if the ladies dressed like they did last night). It's sunny here this a.m. and is supposed to be warm. The sun bathers will be out in force after the frost burns off. Don't forget to bring your green beer next weekend :) Also; we now are set up on Twitter as mcgrovecom where you can check upcoming events, and have an email address at mountaincreekgroveresort@yahoo.com . We are compiling an email list of you folks to start sending you notices, and event updates. The board and G.M. are interested in your input for upcoming themes and would love to hear from you at this email address with your thoughts and ideas. Also, as our internet presence grows we'll let you know how to view us on Facebook  too. Link to us, Tweet us, and turn your friends on to us; we want you all to stay connected. Look forward to seeing you all in green this weekend. We are holding a war council tomorrow or Tuesday to decide a firm target date to open the pool and will let you know as soon as we ahve it. The concrete area around it up against the plastic is more than warm enough to lay out already though and you can easily start on that golden tan right now by just being here.

Date: 03/01/2010

It was Great,

Plaids ans Kilts was a huge success if the people were any indication. Thanks again to Doug and Robin inside the clubhouse and to Vern for spinning tunes at the pavillion. Be sure to show for our Black Tie and Heels this weekend to see what lifestyle office attire is all about. If you showed up for work dressed like this, they'd nail you for sure and we're betting that most of you come hoping to have just that happen :)

See you soon, hang on a second ..."What baby ? We have to buy you a tie, OK Cool"

 Date: 02/22/2010

The last couple of weeks here have been outstanding! The Valentines Day dinner went very well and last weekend followed suit. We had a visit Sat. nite by Doug and Robin to DJ and it looks like they will be back again soon.  As most of you know, the Charter House usually shuts down around 2 am but this weekend the hoster couldn't get out before 3 which gives you an idea of the size of the crowd :) . Sunday was very laid back with really warm sunny weather that people took advantage of by either laying out by the pool or going on a motorcycle ride. Bottom line is, if you didn't show because of the weather, you goofed. It was beautiful and should be this way more and more often as spring comes on in. The trees here are budding and the bulbs are all starting to break thru the ground so consistant warm weather is right around the bend. For those of you that don't have places here, the other indicator is that we are starting to get several reservations and you need to start looking at your calendar so that you don't miss out on a spot. We will be updating this periodically but The Grove is much better experienced than read about, get on back up here and see for yourselves.

What a year 2009 has been. The Grove went through a lot of changes over the last year, most good but with any venue a few bumps in the road. Most memorable would be the weather,  a lot of wet weekends. In April GMI  was formed to help Doc Foster manage and operate the Grove which went back to its original name "Mountain Creek Grove".  With the addition of a new website and webmaster and a new manager and staff , the course was set to put the Grove back to being one of the best Clothing Optional/Lifestyle Resorts in the country. Then in May,  POMA was formed to give the members and property owners a voice to management and to do some member funded projects, most notable the complete renovation of the Charter house as well as some upgrades to the pavilion and bar area.  As stated, anytime you make major changes its not without problems, we have worked a lot of them out but still have a few to address.

Plans for  the New Year are already underway with plans to upgrade all of our rental units, which has already began and improvements to the infrastructure and grounds.  I know that many of you have a lot of great ideas and they are being listened to, but with such major changes we have had to prioritize some venues in order to make us a great resort. We have a lot of good things planned for the new year with a lot of great weekends coming.

We will have parties as usual every Friday and Saturday night but, due to the fact that many of our members felt out of place and/or limited to dressing strictly to a "theme" not all weekends will be themed for 2010. Some themes aren't for everyone, Major holidays of course will be themed  as well as Hooters On Scooters and events like Mardi Gras , St Paddy's and a few others.  We will also continue to have our great weekend takeovers from The Athens's Meet & Greet group, SLS, and many others as we continue to book more takeovers each month. Keep an eye on the events section and your mailbox for future party plans. In January we will have a few themed weekends to get us through the winter doldrums, like our snow tubing adventure to Scaley Mountain and February will bring us the Super Bowl, our big Valentines party and Mardi Gras.  We look forward to seeing all of you here. Don't forget our yearly annual membership special, get in on the lower prices of $695.00/year,  this price is good until February 14th , 2010.

Like I said it has been a year of changes, challenges, improvements, mistakes and rotten weather, but we have weathered the storm.

I would like personally thank a lot of good folks for a job well done.  Thanks to GMI and Doc Foster for implementing the new system,  Doc Cobb and his staff for getting us through the summer, Paige and the folks from POMA,  and my staff:  Debbie M. Office Mgr, Chef Jim in the kitchen, Karen (Baby K) who multitasks in the restaurant, housekeeping and back up in the office, Henry on maintenance, our three dance gurus DJ Eddie, DJ Vern, and DJ Bill,  our webmaster Fred who keeps us on top in the virtual world, our security guys Wayne and Cody, our summer girls who both did a great job Tiffany and Katie , y'all are missed.   Folks these are the people that work hard behind the scenes to make sure your visit is fun and pleasurable.

Also,  I want to bestow very special thanks from me, my staff, and the members of the Grove to all of the volunteers, there is too many of you to name but you and others know who you are.  Thanks for donated items, time and money to make the Grove fantastic.  Most notable thank you to Kay W. for unselfish dedication to decorating the clubhouse and pavilion for all our parties on her time and expense.........

One last note, it is with great sorrow that we send our prayers and thoughts to Allen and his family during this sad time of the passing of his wife Laura.
Laura passed away unexpectedly on Dec. 30th at 40 years of age. Please keep this wonderful family in your thoughts & prayers.

THANK YOU ALL AND HAPPY NEW YEAR
Steve

Hey Grovers,

Thanks for a great summer, it was busy and loads of fun. We are looking forward to an even better winter.  There are several things in store. The pavilion is covered now and heated.  It's bigger than before, we have actually made another party area.  The pavilion area will be big enough to have another DJ and dance floor.  It will also be our smoking party area.

Activities to look forward to is 2 snow tubing trips, look on the website for dates and details.

The Fantasyfest cruise was fantastic with many Grovers aboard. Lots of advertising done there and people interested in coming to see us. We have to say it was very cool to see two thousand plus nude cruisers at one time.  Hope to see MCG that full at some time in the near future.  The next Fantasyfest cruise is in October 2011.  We have gone ahead and requested 20 cabins for that cruise, do you think we can fill it up??

For December, members need to bring a personalized ornament for the Christmas tree. December 12th will be our 1st Charity Ball. We have 2 charities which will benefit from this; Toys for Tots and The Circle of Hope (domestic violence)  Either bring a monetary donation (100% donation given to them) for Circle of Hope or a NEW unwrapped toy.  Also, they are in need of old cell phones that work and please do not bring it if there is no battery or chargers.

PLEASE ADVERTISE BY WORD OF MOUTH OUR NEW WINTER RATES

Excluding major holiday weekends
MCG rates from November 20th 2009 - April 1st 2010 will be:

Sunday - Friday Day Fees
$5 Single Female
$15 per couple

Hello everyone,

Well we ended the summer with a wet Hooters On Scooters but it didn't deter folks. In true Grove style the party rocked on, thanks to Papa Bear and the Band. It rained a lot enough to cause concern and we moved all the campers on the creek. Although it never broke flood stage and we were lucky. Our hearts go out to our fellow Georgians who lost their life's in an unprecedented flood and the many who lost their homes.

Looking ahead to our fall and winter season, we have a lot planned from a Renaissance festival to two Halloween parties, our big Christmas party and the Best New years Party you could attend Clothing optional or otherwise. Plus a whole lot in between, we have several clubs that are planning monthly parties through out the winter. We will be enclosing the pavilion and hot tub in November......Don't miss out on these parties. We will keep you updated on the website, be sure to check in daily to see what is new or upcoming. I will have a lot more info next month

Thanks,

Where has the summer gone? Time flies when your having a good time as they say. What a summer it has been , couldn't have been any hotter ,although the weather was on the cool side this year.  We know you all have seen the many improvements that have been  made.  GMI & POMA as well as the hard work of some of our members have set the bar for a most improved resort for us all.  And the plans for the future are exciting.   This season has seen the Grove return to its top of the line status. We have become international as well, we experimented with some international marketing and the return has surprised even us.  In the past few weeks we have had visitors from Italy, Germany, Canada, Russia, Colombia and the U.K.  We are truly becoming known as one of the best Lifestyle Resorts in the world,  and the proof is in the record crowds we have been experiencing.  Although economic times are tough , it's actually has been a boom for us, as people have cut back on out of the country travel.  They have stumbled upon our little jewel in the mountains of North Ga. and discovered there is a Hedo Type Resort  here at home, in the Good ole USA.  Add to that our concerted effort in partnering with other Lifestyle Clubs and venues and the great job that our webmaster is doing with our website there is a firestorm going through the lifestyle community and the Grove is at ground zero. I would also like to thank all our members for being who you are,  we are a class resort because of you. Your friendliness, attitudes and loyalty tells the story  and it's one of our best selling points.

Although summer is winding down  we look toward our Fall season .we are seeing no slow down and were booking up fast for our late summer and our fall events like Swinging Atlanta Takeover, Labor Day, fall Hooters On Scooters , Oktoberfest and not one but two big Halloween Parties. Also our UNITED WE STAND weekend on  9/11. If you are a first responder such as a Fireman, EMT, Nurse, or Policeman we are giving you 20% off this weekend ,just show your credentials at check in. This is our way of honoring you and remembering those that sacrificed so much that day.., Also those going on the Fantasea Cruise in October need to get your shirt orders into Paige by the end of August.

As we move through fall  and into our winter season GMI, Marketing and POMA will be implementing some new innovative ideas for our winter season including special parties and events, seminars and workshops  , and some fun day trips like last years Snow Tubing Run. in short it will be Hot at the Grove year round

Due to some personal maters with the group organizer the Atl Cpls party had to be postponed this past weekend and we are sorry they had to miss out and The Grove hopes and wishes everything works out for her, in the meantime we want to welcome the 20 new couples that showed up to carry on the party in full Grove tradition.

GMI and POMA would like to take the time to thank Wayne and Sharon for the new  play furniture that was added to the Dungeon , their wishes were for it to be donated in memory of Sharon's late husband Michel who designed and built it.

Thanks,
Stephen Page

This has been one Hot summer, with record crowds on both Friday and Saturday nights as well as allot of weekly visitors. It was no surprise that our Fourth of July was one off the hook party. There was plenty of fun and games as well as numerous cook outs throughout the resort all three days from Chef Jims poolside cookouts to Michael Jordan's big blowout Saturday night and least we forget the feast both nights at the charter house both nights thanks to Danny and Tina, We also have brought back live bands to MCG and this  one was great special thanks to The Papa Bear Band .If you didn't know better you would have thought there female  vocalist was on loan from Sugarland. they rocked the house with good ol' southern rock and made for one hell of a pool party, and special thanks to their musical guest  Mac Man Keith, what a talent to drift away with,

The party's just keep coming and the rest of the summer is lined up to be just as good with special events and guest. Why aren't YOU at the Grove!!!

Be advised that due to increased security to protect our guest and members privacy , the gate code is being changed daily. It is recommended that members get a gate remote. This way you no longer need to worry about calling in each time you visit for the new codes. The remotes are only $24 and are pre-programmed to operate the MCG gate. Please see or contact Fred to arrange to purchase your remote today. Remotes may also be available in the office ask at check-in or check-out to see if there are any in stock there at that time.

Please remember the Donation Bar IS NOT OPERATED BY MCG. It is donation only, operated by members Vinnie and Deb, who are doing one hell of a job IT IS NOT! a member or employee benefit it is for the convenience of our members and guest. There seems to be a lot of abuse, and without the donations it wont be able to continue, trust me folks it will cost you a lot more to bring in extra, than a few dollars donation, Lets not loose this privilege  because a few seem to think they shouldn't  have to donate.

Also the Grove has added four new rentals to our rental program thanks to owner/members,  GMI is continuing to "GROW THE GROVE" let's give them our full support

MCG now offers golf cart rentals as well, for only $35 a day you can be cruising along in a shiny personal ride. No more walking up and down hills or waiting for the next shuttle run. Inquire at the office to rent or reserve yours today!

Memorial day was the start of what promises to be one hot summer at The Grove, Despite the weather the party was one of the best, guess a lot rain just isn't enough to deter the die hard. Then our biggest Hooters On Scooters crowd on record welcomed the sun and 80 degree temps, What a party, the bike runs were awesome and every one returned safe. Congrats to Faith who won the POMA sponsored poker run .She walked away with over $400.00 and POMA earned $125.00.  The bike games were off the hook we have some wild riders, congrats to all the winners, the trophies supplied by S&A Rewards were awesome, Then beautiful bikes in the bike show made the judging hard and I heard the judging for Miss Hooters  On Scooters was even tougher. Congratulations to Donna our new Ms HoS and to all the girls Daphne (Dee Dee), Ali, Patti and Kristy. There all winners.

There is no slowing down though, this up coming weekend 6-12 our bikini beach party will be partying to the sounds of the Caribbean, and to celebrate  ms Michelle's retirement (Not Michelle of Fred & Michelle) we will be roasting a pig  and Saturdays dinner is free complements of her husband. Don't miss it, and speaking of free food the Groves new Sunday dinner is also free, every Sunday at 6:00 thanks to Chef Jim.

The Grove is booking the summer fast, reservations are filling about three weeks in advance so make yours now, in addition to all this the Grove wishes to welcome to of our affiliate clubs to the Grove in the next couple of months,  North Alabama Elite  in July and Rocky Tops and Bottoms in September.

The word is out, Mountain Creek Grove, Americas Lifestyle Resort is the place to be this summer!

Next spring, heat Up Hedo with the Grove details coming soon.

Good Evening Grovers,

Well, April started off brrrrr COLD, but ended nice and warm as it should be. We've been mostly booked with lots of visitors as well as members. A couple of weekends we were able to lay out in the warm sun and work on those all over tans. We've had a new addition to the list of businesses we have had the pleasure of dealing with, which is " Shoes Only Travel" the Groves new travel agency, everyone welcomed them with bare arms! The only thing they brought with them is their shoes, he he he. Our SLS weekend was awesome, with many new visitors whom have already come back to see us, so glad they had a fantastic time and the folks from Trapeze came out to see what all the fuss is about and we are negotiating a cross promotion with them, which will give all of you a discount when visiting the Trapeze Club.

POMA is up and running but still waiting for some of the property owners and members to pop their heads out from such a cold winter. Please see Paige, POMA President, or Mary in the office for information and sign-up forms. POMA girls and their husbands have been feverishly working to remodel the Charter House. So far we have heard fantastic complements on how nice it looks check the website for photos of the new changes.  We are expecting to have a grand opening of the Charter House by Memorial Day weekend. Keep your eyes open for that announcement. Another new addition to MCG is our new housekeeper Katie. She is new to the rental scene, but is doing a fantastic job keeping our place VERY clean, OH, that rhymes. .

Our recent weekends have had good crowds. We wish to welcome our monthly visits from both Swapper Net and Swinglifestyle. This past weekend was the first of our "FULL MOON "party with a great crowd that howled till the sun came up .The rest of May brings us the next SLS party, Memorial Day and the 5th annual "Hooters On Scooters" all back to back and the rest of the summer is booking up fast too.

We are having  record numbers of new couples coming in and we wish to thank all of you for making them feel welcome and building the Groves reputation as the best resort in the world. We are bringing folks in from all over the country and have had recent visitors from Canada, Germany and Puerto Rico. People are discovering what we already know. See you here soon

Greetings from The Grove,
Our summer season is approaching us and were excited about all our planned events and activities.  If the crowds of the past two weekends are any indication of things to come, you need to be making reservations for the events you would like to attend. Last Friday was one of the largest Friday night crowds we have seen. The Grove celebrated its 8th Birthday with a bang and ushered in our new management team under GMI Management.

We're excited about all the changes already underway. The kitchen has been refurbished and Jim and his staff are dedicated to making your dining experience enjoyable during your stay, with a new streamlined menu we are sure you will agree. The Club House is also undergoing a face lift, added to the new recent paint scheme new carpet is being installed. Also the Charter House is being renovated and updated, this project is underway and will take a couple of weeks to complete, so "bare" with us as we make these improvements.

We have also been working with certain groups, clubs and adult travel agencies to enhance our weekends.  The First Friday Group will be hosting the Grove, the first weekend of every month, SLS will be hosting the parties the third weekend of each month, and we are negotiating with a club  in S.C. for the 4th weekend. Leaving the second weekend of the month for open enrollment for any club or groups that would like to host their parties at the Grove. If you are a club or group owner and are interested  in hosting a party contact our marketing department at marketing@mcgrove.com. We are also working on weekday specials and events.

And finally, we are pleased to announce to our property owners and members the creation of  (P)roperty (O)wners (M)embers (A)ssociation, POMA  is a separate entity and is not part of GMI Management. This will be the members voice, with meetings held the third Sunday of the month.  There are several good things planned including your input on MCG operations. GMI has promised to work closely with us on member ideas and projects. If you would like to join POMA contact Paige at mcgpoma@gmail.com for full details.

Stay tuned, this is going to be one hot summer don't miss out!!

The month of LOVE - the month of record attendance here at the Grove!  We had more than 100 sexy people join us here for our total romance Valentine's Weekend.  There were red, sexy outfits all over the place, giving Fireman Bill one of his favorite sights, a sea of red-clad women.  The couples started the evening with romantic dinners of prime rib or chicken and all the women were presented with roses and chocolate.  Our clubhouse was exuding romance that night, with flowing fabrics, candles on the tables and beautiful vases to add to the ambiance.  Apparently this worked really well for one couple as they got engaged here!  Congratulations to Howard and Wendy - they met here back in October and have been pretty much inseparable ever since.  We're so happy for you both!

The dance really got things started with warm bodies encircling each other and the sensation of skin on skin put all the dancers into a frenzy.  A quick contest for the most romantic story awarded Donna 100 roses!  Ask her about the story next time you see her - nearly brought tears to my eyes.  We sold out very quickly for that event, so if you missed it, you might want to call now to book your room for next year!

February wasn't ALL about Valentine's Day though.  Folks came here in droves all month long.  A few weekends even brought us the warm, hot sun that we missed all winter long.  The lounge chairs were pulled out all over the place and folks started on their spring/summer tans.  It really was HOT!  Both in sights to see and in temps.  Those weekends really gave us spring fever!

We had an incredible Mardi Gras party too!  Women (and a few men) trying to get their hands on the best beads.  The clubhouse sparkled in purple, green and gold and got everyone in the mood.  If you were smart enough, you could do your own "Bourbon Street Shot Crawl" around the tables at the dance.  The indulgences were many, but how can you blame everyone with the temptations that always are in the air around here.

The first weekend in March, brought the First Friday group from Athens, GA.  The Charter House was hopping all evening Friday and most of the day on Saturday, too!  This brought us a packed out house and gorgeous 80 degree temps on Saturday, which brought us all out to get some sun for the afternoon.  It reminded me of a typical summer afternoon here - and who would of thought that could happen in MARCH?!  I heard rumor that many of the First Friday group are already planning their next trips back, looking forward to seeing you all again really soon.

March events are under way and are filling up fast and as for April, get on the phone now!  The rooms are filling up!  Hooters on Scooters is already sold out in May, but we still have dry camping or no hook up sites for campers.  This summer is shaping up to be our best ever.  We hope to see you all soon.

Hugs and kisses!
Deb

January has traditionally been a cool temperature month, but we have, in the past, laid out in the sun even in January!  Well, this month gave us a bit of a reality with the temperatures staying pretty close to freezing.  Not many naked bodies basking - BUT the heat at the dances has been HOT HOT HOT!!  We have had some incredible weekends with fun things to do and wonderful people to do them with.

Our first excursion to Scaly Mountain for snow tubing started off with a wonderful drive up to Dillard, Georgia, and a really enjoyable lunch at the famed Dillard House.  If you've never eaten there, I highly recommend you take the time to stop by.  It is roughly a 40 minute drive there, but the views from the restaurant are stunning and the food was PLENTIFUL and deliciously prepared.  This restaurant has won several awards from Southern Living Magazine, so they're no joke!  After a meal fit for a king (aka Doc, who joined us), we headed about 8 miles further to Scaly.  Two hours of fun filled snow tubing down the mountain - no we weren't allowed to be without clothes, not that you would have wanted to be - it was around 30 degrees that day!  They have a "ride" up the mountain while you lay in your tube and get pulled up the hill to arrive at the top of the man made snow covered hills.  A quick and exciting ride down the two humps hill and then a mud splashed halt at the end!  It was a great time and everyone had a blast - AND no major injuries!  :-)

We also enjoyed a wonderful "Drive in Movie" night with popcorn, boxes of movie theater candy and a private showing of the new Pirates 2:  Stagnetti's Revenge movie.  This movie had the highest budget in history for a porn file and the acting wasn't too bad either - but who really watched the acting that much?  The movie did have an actual story though, and a plot!  It made the evening very enjoyable with everyone cuddling up with their friends and watching this on the BIG SCREEN!  Thanks to everyone who helped get that set up!  Important note - folks were lying out in the sun NAKED Saturday AND Sunday.  The weather was gorgeous!  Some of us were stuck in the clubhouse watching the nudies as we painted our party place a beautiful shade of light gray with white trim - come by to see it, what a difference it made!  A special thanks to W&J, S&P, D&J, PB, D for all your hard work!  Also a big THANK YOU to Fireman Bill, Vern, James, Rob and everyone else who assisted in getting all the rentals ready for this weekend - you guys are the best!

Coming up - the BIG Valentine's Dinner Dance this Saturday night, February 14th.  We will have a dinner of Prime Rib or Chicken (your choice), custom made chocolates and roses for the ladies and a glass of champagne to kick off your romantic dinner date.  Then the fun will really begin with the dance at 9pm.  We were completely sold out, but had ONE cancellation for Motel 4.  If you are interested, this room will go, first come first served, so CALL NOW!   There is a two night minimum stay for all rentals this weekend and this is a weekend you do not want to miss.  We look forward to seeing you all in a few days!

Other big things are happening - Mardis Gras - we've got the beads, do you have what it takes to get them?  Pop Rocks weekend, we will provide them - let's see what you can do with them!  Domestic Divas and Handy Hunks - help us get the Grove Spring ready and enjoy some sun time and fun time while you're at it.  St Patrick's Day - what can you paint green?  Luau - it's time to get in warm weather mode!  Be sure to check out the website www.mcgrove.com and get your preferred weekend reservations in!  The rentals and camping lots are going fast as our busy season comes in.  You have to experience it - isn't that our motto?  Well, if you don't have reservations, you might just miss the experience of a lifetime.

I know we'll see you soon - don't forget about our BOGO (Buy One night, Get One free) promotion weekends in Feb, March and April (2/20-21, 3/6-7 and 4/3-4).  These specials end in April so take advantage of them while you can.  Until the next hot, sexy night we enjoy together -   Hugs and Kisses,

Deb

New Year's Week at the Grove

Well, there are only a few times when I seem unable to find the words to describe an event at the Grove and this past New Year's celebration week was definitely one of them!  What an event.  We had heavily attended parties the weekend before New Year's and brought that all through the following week.  The largest night, New Year's Eve itself, brought out more than 150 people to bring in 2009 in a way that only the Grove can.

New Year's Eve was an incredible night starting with a delicious prime rib dinner.  The decorations quickly went up with Grove etched champagne glasses for every attendee and bottles of champagne on each table.  The common noise makers and celebratory hats were everywhere and the whole clubhouse sparkled!  The lines formed almost immediately after the dinner with folks anxious to get inside for a good seat, and for some warmth!  It was a chilly night, but heated up fast at our dance as ladies strutted in their fanciest frocks and gentlemen dressed to impress.  We even had a "Baby New Year" in attendance just to remind us all that we get the chance to start anew.  When midnight rolled around, the countdown began - champagne corks popping and more kisses than I've ever seen in one night!

The crowd headed north to the Charter House, pretty much altogether, around 1am or so.  A big breakfast was provided which everyone enjoyed and then on to play time!  The dungeon room was in full swing, as was the massage table with Danny providing his incredibly sensual hot wax treatments.  The downstairs was jumping with folks eager to start their New Year resolutions out the right way - and it looked very RIGHT to me!

The parties did not stop on Wednesday night, but continued nightly thru the weekend.  The attendance was awesome!  Beautiful people everywhere.  We saw the return of some of our old friends and the presence of many new friends as well.  The hot tub, enclosed, was the source of much action over the week and the new enclosed pavilion made spending time outside much more comfortable.

We are not slowing down this year at the Grove.  Coming up next weekend is our first ever Sadie Hawkins Dance, so ladies, be sure to ask another male to escort you to the dance on Saturday!  The ladies rule all weekend long.  This will also be  BOGO weekend - buy one night rental, get the second night free.  Call Beth to get your reservations in now!  The next weekend, 1/23-24, will be our first POLAR BARE weekend!  We will dare you to jump in the pool, no, it's not heated!  The person who can last in the frigid water the longest will win a $100 gift certificate to the Grove (can be used for rentals, food, day fees, etc and IS 100% transferable - note our single male rules please).

Some new policies for 2009 that you should be aware of:

1.  All members and guests are required to "check out" in the office with Beth before 11am on Sunday for that weekend's expenses.  Members, this is new for you - if you eat or have party fees, you MUST pay them that weekend!  The only items which can continue on a monthly bill are your lot rent and electric bill.

2.  All single male guests must be accompanied by a current member in good standing.  Please refer to the website - www.mcgrove.com - for more details.

3.  Fred and Michelle have graciously provided us with a website since our previous site is down.  Please be sure to thank them when you see them.  Visit the site and the forums/chat room and tell ALL your friends about it!

Lastly - we have a HUGE Valentine's party in the plan!  Since VDay will fall on Saturday, we expect this to be a bigger turn out than ever before.  Be sure to call Beth for details and to get a reservation.  A special Valentine's dinner and dance will be held.

We hope to see you all soon and that you have started 2009 out with a bang, or two!  Even if you weren't able to join us for the new year celebration, we know you will want to come visit us more this year than ever before.  Don't forget about our upcoming events, not to be missed!

May you all be happy and healthy in all that you do this year!

Hugs and Kisses -
Deb

PS - Please keep our member, Tim (of Tim and Brenda) in your thoughts and prayers as he gets through a difficult health issue.  Thank you.

Upcoming events and NEW special's once per month thru April '09!

We will begin offering a special BOGO weekend once per month from Dec thru April, 2009. This will only apply to the listed weekends and is offered ONLY on the rentals owned by the Grove, not the member owned rentals. The deal is that on these special BOGO weekends, you can buy one night accommodations and get the second night FREE! The Grove knows that these difficult times in our poor economy make it hard for our friends and family to join us here at the Grove as much as they would like to. SO - we are offering this to allow you to come at least once per month to remember the romantic, sexually charged times you have always enjoyed. This offer does not apply to tent or RV sites and is not valid on any other weekends. Regular day fees are still charged, unless you are an annual member and there is a TWO night minimum. This cannot be combined with any other special offers. Hope to see you all real soon!

(See the Events page for Deb's up-coming themes)

So - that's it for now. Thanksgiving weekend was wonderful and we were packed! There was even a rumor of snow this weekend, but with our newly enclosed bar area and heaters, the party overflowed to a comfortable space that really brought us all together.

If you haven't been by lately, what's going on? You know you need that "escape" that only the Grove can provide and we will be partying all winter long. With the new BOGO specials, we are even making it easier for you to come back and see us. We have missed you!
Hugs and Kisses -
Deb

A "Guest" Newsletter author - our very own "Doc"

Well folks, Doc sent this and I think it says it all pretty well, so here is the HOS newsletter. Hope to see you soon!
Love,
Deb

From Doc:

DX:
What a weekend! This Hooters on Scooters was the best ever. Our wet T-shirt contest by the pool was probably the best participation, with 20 Grove Ladies in the competition. Thanks to Joey for all the T-shirts used in the contest. Special congratulations to Sandy, whose antics with the reigning Ms. Hooters on Scooters Queen won the wet t-shirt contest. We know her hubby must love those hooters. What a lucky man!!! The Charter House rocked on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Danny and Tina hosted and as usual the spread of food was outstanding! !! Then on Saturday nights we had The PIG. We all got Piggy, and some got a little more piggy than others. There was squealing and grunting all over the House. It was so full the decks were full, and the party spilled out into the parking lot. Sunday night we had a lot of guests hung on, not quite wanting to let go of the weekend and the party atmosphere. We had a potluck dinner, and about 40 people showed up at Doc's House for sloppy seconds. We feasted and we shared good times before returning to the Hot Tub for a game of clockwise and counterclockwise. What a game! What a great game to break the ice, and it puts getting to know you into an entirely new dimension. Friday night they had a ring toss in the Hot Tub and from what I understand the size of the pole was hard to miss. Over all, it was a fine Grove weekend and a great Hooters on Scooters.

RX:
Forecast for this weekend looks to be a good one. Chances of rain are low, and we're going to party Camo Style. So pull out your fatigues and your camouflage and get yourself to The Grove. It's not quite Halloween, so let's make it "HOWL-O-WEEN" Harvest Moon Festival. Just past the full moon with clear nights and cooler evenings, we'll make this one special "HOWL-O-WEEN. " We will be having a party at the Charter House this Friday and Saturday nights, and Doc and Kate will be hosting. There is no way we can compete with Danny and Tina's spread, and we are not even going to try. Instead we are going to ask that each of our guests bring their favorite creation (chips and dip, finger sandwiches, chilies and hot wings, etc.). Bring what you like and what will fit the occasion. Who knows -- maybe the game of clockwise or counterclockwise will be replayed in the Hot Tub. The pool is at 85 degrees and warm. For all of you volleyball players, Saturday and Sunday afternoon promises to be the best volleyball of the year. Invite your friends and make dates to "HOWL-O-WEEN. " Special message to tent'ers: For this weekend, tent sites will be 1/2 price. We want everybody to take advantage of the "Stay and Play" Sunday, when rooms and cabins are only $50.00; that includes your day fees, so you can stay late or stay until Monday. Look forward to seeing what you guys come up with.

Doc
